He stared into her eyes, studying them, trying to make her understand. She wasn’t tall and she wasn’t strong. Her arms were skinny and her legs weren’t fast. But her heart, he could feel it even when he looked away. Her heart was strong, much stronger than he could ever be, and this worried him.
“It will be dangerous, you understand that, yes?” He watched her smile, a slow smile that revealed how terrified she was. But with that smile, her heartbeat grew stronger and he was convinced. Taking her hand, he grinned and the Traveler stole her away.

You could say that this is like my take/version of the Doctor from Doctor Who. The Traveler is a character that started forming in my head and I hope he's not going away any time soon. I may post more drabbles about the Traveler and it might turn out into a whole other story. Of course, I still need to continue the story I'm currently working on.
